One of Concentrol’s hallmarks is its commitment to research and the dissemination of knowledge. Therefore, visiting trade fairs and specialized events of the sector and establishing collaboration networks are essential activities. On November 26 and 27, the company attended the 2020 Polyurethane Additive Application Technology Conference and the first annual meeting of the Additives Branch of the Chinese Polyurethane Industry Association.

In this way, Concentrol was able to delve a little further into learning about the PU production sector in one of its leading countries, China. In total, there were 11 presentations made by professionals from large companies in the Asian continent, in which they discussed technical issues related to some additives used in the PU production line.

The lectures were based on these content axes: current situation and development trend of the PU blowing agent; application of special additives for high rebound polyurethane foam; the influence of the water-based release agent on the quality of the environment in the car and the application of ecological foam stabilizer for furniture sponges, among others.

The presentations focused on technology and the application of additives, so Concentrol’s attendance at this event turned out to be a source of learning about market requirements and trends in the Chinese market. In addition, it was also an opportunity to learn more about the new applications of PU products. Lastly, during the seventh conference, the identity and source of VOCs were presented through different references of Concentrol’s brand water-based release agent.

At Concentrol we value very positively attending events such as the 2020 Polyurethane Additives Application Technology Conference, since they allow us to learn about and explore the new technologies in the sector, while we publicize our solutions and establish new networks of collaborators, affiliates and customers. We hope to continue participating in other related activities as members of the Chinese Polyurethane Industry Association.
