Even if you don’t see them, they are there. In our day-to-day life we use a series of objects that work thanks to invisible products. We may not give them the attention they deserve, because we are not aware of the importance of these elements in our routine. For this reason, Concentrol launched the “Leaders of the Unseen” campaign, in order to show their functionality and claim their fundamental role. The latest edition of the series focuses on the automotive sector, with the prominent role of the Performance Materials Division.

In the eighth edition of “Leaders of the Unseen”, Concentrol shows solutions in air filters and soundproofing. Silicone surfactants and mold release agents play an essential role: firstly, the products provide a uniform finish in the manufacture of air filters, among other features; and, secondly, they are key in the manufacturing process of the soundproofing parts of a vehicle, as they allow sound insulation, while adapting the characteristics of the parts to the needs of customers, such as the opening of the foam cell.

It is not the first time that Concentrol has focused on automotive solutions. Precisely in the previous edition we saw some of the applications of products related to polyurethane for the car: encapsulated glass, dashboard, steering wheel and door and ceiling panels. Moreover, thanks to another instalment of “Leaders of the Unseen,” we were able to discover the release agents, silicone stabilizers, and adhesives used in the manufacture of seats and steering wheels.

Have you thought about what makes our day-to-day life possible? Hundreds of objects are essential in our daily lives and, although we are not fully aware of them, they are possible thanks to the sum of all their parts. At Concentrol we have the goal of being the leaders of all these essential elements in our lives, in order to bring the best possible solutions to our customers.
