Last September 30th, Concentrol was present at the latest Sopar dels Miralls at the Hotel Camiral at PGA Catalunya, a charity event that raises funds for research in biomedicine and public health at the Biomedical Research Institute of Girona (IDIBGI). Concentrol added to the contributions and participated once again. So far, the company has taken part in all editions of El Sopar dels Miralls.

The third edition of the event was scheduled for March 2020, but a few days before, the outbreak of the pandemic prevented the event from taking place. After many months and some attempts, it was possible to organize once again this social and charity event and finally the dinner was held, with great success in attendance.

Looking up to someone, following their example and/or imitating them is a desire shared by many people, young and old. The Sopar dels Miralls is an opportunity to share a table with a person you admire, for a good cause and in a special venue. Every year the organization manages to bring together relevant people from culture, science, journalism, sports or politics. Hosts such as Carme Ruscalleda, Tomàs Molina, Jaume Alonso-Cuevillas or Josep Carreras took part in the charity evening. To collaborate with this important initiative, this year Concentrol had the honor of sharing a table with the journalist and writer Pilar Rahola.

The Institut d’Investigació Biomèdica de Girona (IDIBGI) is the only biomedical research center in the Girona region, which is dedicated to research in six areas around health. Its excellent research activity is aimed at improving the knowledge about numerous diseases in order to innovate in their diagnosis, treatments and prevention, improving people’s quality of life.

At Concentrol we strive to keep providing value to society. In addition, our firm commitment to research and development moves us to be in contact with the world of scientific research and to collaborate in the study of new alternatives that improve the lives of all people.
