Concentrol has been recognized by the Generalitat de Catalunya on Wednesday, October 19th for its internationalization strategy, within the framework of the Internationalization Week, organized by ACCIÓ. The Catalonia Trade Leaders Awards are new recognitions that look forward to distinguish business projects which go abroad in a context of global complexity due to the pandemic and the current geopolitical tensions.

Concentrol has consolidated its internationalization in recent years, with a presence in 80 countries and with the implementation of a strategy that has allowed to increase its international turnover by 34% in 2021. The company’s CEO, Jaume Guàrdia, explains that the key to its international projection has been diversification in most industrial sectors, apart from the decision to set up its own subsidiaries in the United States and China.

Guàrdia also points out that the company’s main focus since the outbreak of the pandemic has been on digital channels, through which it has incorporated ”the right content” to attract “potential customers”. In recent years, the company has focused on incorporating specialists, training internal staff and collaborating with experts to have a digital presence in different countries.

Toni Pons and Freshly Cosmetics were the other two companies to receive the award, along with Concentrol. These Catalan companies have also been recognized for increasing international sales in the last two years thanks to digitalization.
