Concentrol, specialized in offering chemical solutions for the industrial sector, is always up-to-date with new regulations related to the safety and sustainability of the products it works with.

The company TÜV Nord has carried out an audit of Concentrol’s industrial processes and, for the first time, also audited the company’s Chicago headquarters. The two audits have ended with a very positive result because they have concluded that the company meets the requirements to renew once again the ISO 14001:2015 and 9001:2015 certificates, also contemplating the new office in the United States.

The requirements of the ISO standard serve to certify that the company’s day-to-day operations integrate environmental management issues into business strategies and quality management requirements. The 2015 version, for example, incorporates life cycle considerations, risk management and environmental performance improvement.

ISO 14001:2015 certification specifies requirements for an environmental management system that an organization can use to reduce its environmental impact and is intended for organizations that want to manage their environmental responsibilities systematically. As for the ISO 9001:2015 certification, it serves to specify the requirements for a quality management system and to ensure customer satisfaction.

Concentrol has been working along the lines of sustainability for some years now. From the R&D team of the company, a team of professionals investigates how current chemical solutions can be improved to make them more sustainable and leave the minimum possible impact on the environment. These renovations are another example of how the company is involved every day in the improvement of the environment while striving to improve the quality of its products.
