Concentrol announces the expansion of its product portfolio with the introduction of new silicone surface additives from the ORDISOL SWT family. These additives offer state-of-the-art solutions for formulators seeking to improve the surface properties of coatings, providing excellent stability in extreme conditions and corrosive environments.

The ORDISOL SWT family incorporates two product ranges: Substrate Wetting and Anti-cratering Agents, and Surface Control Additives. The Substrate Wetting and anti-crater Agents are specially designed for printing inks and aqueous systems, while the Surface Control Additives are ideal for solvent-based, solvent-free and aqueous systems.

Concentrol has recently added new references to the product portfolio. In the range of substrate wetting agents, Ordisol SWT-49 has been added, specially designed for aqueous and adhesive systems, improving wetting, levelling and flow. It offers a strong reduction in surface tension with very low foaming in all systems.

In addition, the range of Surface Control Additives has been expanded with the inclusion of Ordisol SWT-35. This universal additive offers a good anti-crater effect and improved surface slip, as well as being suitable for increasing scratch resistance and enhancing gloss. It also has a certain defoaming effect, stabilising the foam much less than other polysiloxane-polyether copolymer additives.

At Concentrol, development and innovation are an integral part of our business philosophy. Our research and development team work tirelessly to design and deliver the best possible chemical solutions, tailored to the specific needs of our customers and the demands of each sector.

The addition of these new silicone surface additives to the Concentrol portfolio is a testament to our commitment to excellence and innovation. We are proud to be a market leader and will continue to work to provide state-of-the-art chemical solutions that meet our customers’ needs, ensuring the quality and performance of their products.
