Concentrol is constantly updating its product references in order to adjust them to the needs of its customers. The Additives division has recently been working on the adaptation of tachifying resins.

The resin dispersions improve the cohesion and adhesion parameters of self-adhesives and adhesives based on acrylic resin dispersions, EVA, SBR, NBR, natural or synthetic latex and water-based polyurethane dispersions.

Resin tackifiers are obtained by modifying a base resin that can have different origins. Once the resin has been modified, it is solubilized in water using emulsifying agents, until a water-based resin dispersion is obtained.

The main function of resin dispersions is to improve the adhesion of polymeric dispersions on non-polar substrates, mainly plastic surfaces, although they can also be used in applications on porous and polar substrates such as paper and cardboard.

These solutions are compatible with a wide range of acrylic resins, EVA, SBR, NBR, latex, polychloroprene and polyurethane. Once suitably formulated, they have excellent wetting properties on silicone paper in particular and on all types of substrates in general.

EMULTROL E-166 Tape, self-adhesive labels and water based adhesives. Esterified resin dispersion. Excellent adhesive properties while maintaining very good cohesion. Its main use is to improve the adhesive properties of polymeric dispersions on non-polar substrates and cardboard. EMULTROL E-60-5 TP Taoe, self-adhesive labels and water based adhesives. Modifies stickiness and  characteristics of cohesion in self-adhesives based on aqueous dispersions of acrylic resins. Its main use is to improve the tack of these polymers in aqueous dispersion, without diminishing cohesion significantly.

EMULTROL E-500 AH Taoe, self-adhesive labels and water based adhesives. Aqueous resin dispersion without solvent, composed of modified hydrogenated hydrocarbon resin. Its main function is to improve the adhesion of polymeric dispersions on non-polar substrates and cardboard. Excellent compatibility with dispersions of acrylic resins. polychloroprene, latex, PVA, EVA, SBR, NBR and polyurethane.
EMULTROL E-600 TH Taoe, self-adhesive labels and water based adhesives. Aqueous dispersion of modified synthetic resin. Recommended as a taquificante for formulations with polychloroprene, natural latex and polymers used in applications for labels, tapes and adhesives and contact. It does not contain ethoxylated alkylphenol or solvents.
EMULTROL E-55 EV Taoe, self-adhesive labels and water based adhesives. Effective tackification with high shear performance.
