The Halal Institute, the Spanish official Halal certification body, has renewed Concentrol’s compliance of part of its food division products with the regulations governing the set of practices allowed by Muslims, which stipulates practices regarding food, among others.
Now, this certification has also received the approval of the Malaysian accreditation body JAKIM, which again trusts the fulfilment of Halal requirements for exports to this Asian country.
Several Concentrol products in the food division have been subjected to the control regime defined in the Halal Institute’s Procedural Manual, passing it, and thus obtaining the Halal Conformity Certification for preparation, packaging and commercialization of some coatings and antifoaming agents suitable for food.
