In early February, Concentrol had the honor of participating in the inaugural meeting of the Business Council of the Josep Trueta Biomedical Research Institute of Girona (IDIBGI). This advisory body, composed of prominent representatives from the business and healthcare sectors, aims primarily to facilitate the transfer of scientific knowledge and technology to the productive sector.
The collaboration between Concentrol and IDIBGI is longstanding. For years, Concentrol has been an active collaborator of IDIBGI and has contributed to fundraising efforts for biomedical research, demonstrating its commitment to scientific advancement and social well-being.
IDIBGI is a renowned institute focused on translational research to improve health and patient care. With 23 research groups across five scientific areas and more than 400 healthcare professionals and basic researchers, IDIBGI is a benchmark in biomedical research in the Girona region. Its cutting-edge projects address the mechanisms of diseases in areas such as Oncohematology, Metabolism and Inflammation, Cardiovascular and Respiratory Diseases, Neuroscience, Medical Imaging, and Mental Health, among others.
