Concentrol takes a significant step towards international growth with EUROPUR and attends one of its most outstanding conferences.

The Girona-based company aims to enhance its brand, business philosophy, and establish itself as a global leader in the industry. By becoming a member of EUROPUR, the European Association of Flexible Polyurethane Foam Blocks Manufacturers, Concentrol seeks to further professionalize its operations and benefit from the platform’s discussions on key issues related to foam production and usage.

EUROPUR, founded in 1966 and headquartered in Brussels, has been representing the polyurethane industry for over five decades, making it a primary sector partner for Concentrol. One notable characteristic of this association is its commitment to providing a platform for addressing and discussing the major challenges and advancements in foam production.

Concentrol is set to attend the upcoming EUROPUR & EURO-MOULDERS annual conference, taking place on June 14 and 15. The conference will feature more than 40 speakers who will share their expertise and insights on critical topics relevant to the flexible PU foam molding industry in Europe and beyond. The event will be held in Budapest, Hungary, at the Novotel Budapest City & Budapest Congress Center.

The first day of the conference will focus on exploring general topics and industry updates in the polyurethane sector, while the second day will include technical presentations on sustainability, health and safety, and other related subjects. Additionally, various product and machinery groups will be showcased during the event.

EUROPUR, an excellent opportunity to establish valuable contacts and foster continued growth

EUROPUR’s foam-producing members operate in approximately thirty European countries, and since 2019, foam producers from Africa, the Middle East, and CIS countries have also joined the organization. Globally, EUROPUR members are present in the majority of flexible PU plants in the European Economic Area, accounting for around 80% of the foam production.

EUROPUR’s members engage in various aspects of the PU industry, including selling foam blocks, manufacturing semifinished products, and producing mattresses, furniture, and other consumer goods. The organization encompasses over 50 organizations within the flexible PU foam supply chain, including raw material suppliers, additive suppliers, machine manufacturers, laboratories, and recycling companies.

For Concentrol, being a member of EUROPUR provides opportunities to cultivate professional contacts and strengthen expertise in the field through continuous learning.
