The concern for sustainability is a key factor that demonstrates the values and commitment of organizations. That is why in Concentrol we are firmly committed to contributing to the improvement of the chemical sector, implementing relevant changes that promote sustainable practices.
On 13 May, Concentrol organized an international webinar to share our experiences in terms of sustainability in the polyurethane sector. The main issue was the importance of reducing the emissions of volatile substances from plastic components. To this end, silicon-based surfactants have been developed for low content of aldehyde and aromatic emissions PU foam, for the automotive sector.
The webinar was a success, with more than 150 people of 31 nationalities connected simultaneously from around the world. Our speakers, Nikoleta Raykova, Product Manager of the Performance Materials division and Dr. Josep Nadal, Technical Director of Polyurethane additives, were able to respond to all the questions asked live, generating a valuable discussion for all the participants.
In Concentrol and in our division of Performance Materials, we work day by day to develop more and better sustainable solutions for all our processes. The aim is to provide our customers with high-quality products that will reduce the environmental impact, contributing to awareness in our sector of the proper use of resources.
