Last Tuesday, July 18th, the first promotions of the Industrial Doctoral Plan were awarded their diplomas in an act that recognized all PhD students, thesis supervisors and company heads who participated in one of the 127 Projects started between 2012 and 2014.
The event was chaired by the Councilor for Business and Knowledge, Santi Vila, the secretary of Universities and Research, Arcadi Navarro, the general director of Universities, Josep Pallarès, and the director of the Industrial Doctorates Plan, Albert Sangrà.
The Industrial Doctorates Plan has the aim of promoting the transfer of knowledge to the manufacturing industry and creating synergies between Catalan universities, both public and private, the research centers of Catalonia and more than 200 companies.
Within this group of companies, Concentrol is also involved, collaborating with the project by engaging two students in the field of R & D that combine the doctorate with their work in the company. Thus, Dr. Josep Nadal and the future doctors Adrià López and Carles Alonso were awarded recognition in the act.
Concentrol collaborates with projects such as the Industrial Doctorate Plan to adopt young talent, train it, and help with work placements.
