Thanks to a grant provided by ACCIÓ, the Agency for Business Competitiveness of the Generalitat of Catalunya, Concentrol has honed its focus on reducing its environmental footprint and combating climate change more specifically.
ACCIÓ Green coupons are awarded to SMEs with more than two years of operational history and consist of a series of direct economic incentives for the outsourcing of specialized external advice in climate change-related matters.
In particular, this line of funding has empowered Concentrol, in partnership with advisor Russell Bedford, to conduct an environmental assessment and outline a technological roadmap. This resulted in a personalized report with recommendations for integrating or developing green technologies, formulating a sustainability strategy, and devising an action plan for mitigating or adapting to climate change.
ACCIÓ Assistance
The support provided to businesses by the Generalitat of Catalunya has already benefited over 3,800 Catalan companies, aiding them in various processes such as initial exports, the implementation and development of new technologies, and adapting their business models to the changing environment.
In 2022, Concentrol also leveraged ACCIÓ support, which was primarily focused on servitization processes. This initiative aimed to solidify its business model regarding the services offered and customer relationships.
