Concentrol’s mission is to become day after day a source of technical and scientific knowledge in each of its three divisions. On March 28, the chemical company attended and participated in the conference “How to improve the useful life of stone fruit in the linear”. Jesus Loscos, of the Commercial Department of the Food Division, was in charge of carrying out the presentation on the products offered by the Food Division of Concentrol, in which we find fruit coatings, central axis of the conference .
The event, organized by the company AFS Fruits Services, also counted with the participation of Pilar Plaza, doctor in food science and technology, and Monica Sabater, technical director of Greenkeeper. In addition, active members of the sector such as technicians, researchers or producers who attended the conference, were able to express their opinion through the debate that concluded the event. From the initial question of how to make the useful life of stone fruit in the linear more efficient and productive, Concentrol was able to show and teach its solutions in coatings for the fruit and vegetable sector.
These products allow to extend the useful life of the fruit, generating the optimal conditions to protect and preserve the pieces in the linear. In this way, the physiological activity of the fruit is reduced, thus delaying the process of deterioration and decomposition. At the same time, the coatings help to maintain and take care of the shape and weight of the piece so that its commercialization is possible.
