One of the most important rights that leads us towards a fairer and more equal society is universal access to the public health system. From Concentrol we fight to make the world a little better every day, and that is why this 2023 we are once again supporting the GAVI program for child vaccination.
GAVI, the Business Alliance for Child Vaccination, is an international organization that was born in 2000 with the aim of generating systemic changes in the child vaccination sector under the motto “It’s only progress if we all progress”. The project is a union of “La Caixa” Fopundation, GAVI Alliance, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and ISGlobal, and they count on the collaboration of customers, workers and companies, including Concentrol.
Gavi studies show that of the 130 million children born in 2020, 22.7 million were not immunized. Statistics also show that every 20 seconds, a child dies due to lack of access to vaccines.
Thanks to the work done by the Business Alliance for, from 2008 to 2022 it has been possible to contribute to the vaccination of 9 million children. In addition, it is estimated that from 2021 to 2030, in the 73 countries supported by this entity, there has been a saving in medical care of up to 51 dollars for every dollar invested in immunization.
At Concentrol we believe that we are responsible for contributing to society, which is why throughout our history we have actively collaborated with various social initiatives to carry out their projects.
