The magazine Hortofruit INNOVA has published in its April-May 2018 printed edition a study developed by Anna Afonso (PhD, Concentrol’s technical department) on food antifoaming agents based on vegetable oils.



Hortofruit INNOVA was born as a technical publication, aimed at professionals in the fruit and vegetable sector, which deals with the most important innovations in the fields of machinery, techniques and processes. The magazine is available in two formats: on paper on a quarterly basis and online, where it is constantly updated to inform you about professional and technical developments in the sector.



The published article reflects on the advantages of using antifoaming agents based on vegetable oils versus the commonly used silicone ones, especially in the food sector, and the effectiveness of the product EMUTROL DFM OLV-55,  developed by Concentrol.
